Terms of Use
Effective date: May 28, 2026
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of DiVino, including appdivino.com and related mobile apps (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.
You must be of legal drinking age in your jurisdiction to use alcohol-related features. The Service is for informational and personal cellar-management purposes only.
What the Service Provides
DiVino is a wine identifier app that scans wine labels and restaurant menus for wine lovers who want bottle details, cellar tracking, and food pairing recommendations. Bottle matches, ratings, price ranges, drinking windows, and pairing suggestions are informational estimates. They are not guaranteed appraisals, authentication results, or professional sommelier advice.
The Service does not guarantee that every label or menu photo will be identified correctly. Rare bottles, damaged labels, poor lighting, and incomplete database records can reduce accuracy.
Acceptable Use
- Use the Service only for lawful personal, educational, or cellar-management purposes.
- Do not scrape, reverse engineer, overload, or attempt to bypass access limits or security controls.
- Do not use the Service to misrepresent bottle identity, provenance, condition, or value.
- Do not upload unlawful, infringing, or abusive content.
- Drink responsibly and follow local laws regarding alcohol purchase, service, and consumption.
Accounts, Subscriptions, and Payments
If you create an account, you are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity under your account. Paid features, if offered, may renew automatically unless canceled through the applicable app store or billing channel. Refund eligibility follows the platform or store policy that processed the purchase.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for purchase decisions, resale outcomes, identification errors, or indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
Always verify important bottle details manually before buying, selling, cellaring, or serving high-value wine.
Intellectual Property
We own or license the Service software, branding, website content, and design except for third-party trademarks and content belonging to their respective owners. You may not copy, resell, or republish the Service or its outputs except as allowed by law or written permission.
Termination and Changes
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or if needed to protect the Service or other users. We may modify the Service or these terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms.
